Hillel Lazarus joined the firm in 2012 and heads its real estate lending group. He is an accomplished deal maker, having closed thousands of transactions over his almost fifteen years of practice, and has provided counsel to virtually every conceivable seat at the closing table. He is known for his client-focused approach, relying on a deep understanding of his client’s business needs in structuring and executing every deal. His practice focuses on acquisitions and sales of multi-family, retail, and office properties, and the representation of institutional and private lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate financing, including mortgage loans, mezzanine debt, construction loans, preferred equity and foreign bond issuances secured by domestic real estate.
